Tonight was the first evening in a long while that the weather was welcoming and fine.
The over 16 years group including Lucy, Abi, Ollie, Liam, Emily, Iona and Jack made a super presentation to the Future Roots board members about their personal memories of their time here at the farm and shared how the British Value Standards went hand in hand with Future Roots values.
Their heart felt opinions resonated so well with their own reflective journeys and were amazingly received by the board members. The ambassadors also had time for a ‘catch up’ with their favourite animals on the farm which of course brought a smile to their faces.
The group enjoyed chicken fajitas together and made plans for our next meeting in July which is going to be our celebratory evening, sharing food and playing games together, our videographer Mark from Lightshed Productions will be there to capture the fun on film.
