Our new Whitfield site received a huge boost this week with the news that the Wessex Group will be helping us get it ready for the community!
Wessex is one of Dorset’s great family businesses. As well as being a successful company, the group has contributed to many community projects and runs a popular apprenticeship scheme for local young people. With their headquarters in Shaftesbury, they provide a design, installation and maintenance service that covers all mechanical and electrical systems.
The Wessex Group will be helping us with a range of refurbishments, including the upgrade of disabled toilets and the repair of water damage. They will also be helping us with our plan to turn one of Whitfield’s buildings into a community café.
It’s only with the support of local businesses that we’re able to make a difference to those who most need it in Dorset. Everyone at Future Roots would like to say a massive ‘thank you’ to the managment and staff at the Wessex Group.
