It’s a fine bromance…

People, I need your help. Last time I posted I was writing having fallen head over paws for, amongst others, the lovely Daisy. Well that is still going well. We spend time together and I love her more than ever. But, there’s a problem.

There’s a new dog on the farm – he’s great, we hang out together, he understands rough and tumble, he’s a young pup and I can teach him some of my old tricks. It’s fun. But Daisy isn’t impressed, she says Dougie is a waste of time and that I should be spending any time I have with her. I don’t know. She’s great and everything but I think a dog needs mates. Dougie’s alright and I don’t want to hurt his feelings. How can I explain to Daisy that my little bromance with Dougie isn’t the end of us, and you can have a girlfriend without losing your boy mates…
