A few weeks ago we welcomed Star and Sweetheart to Rylands Farm for a short holiday.
Sweetheart is Star’s grandmother. They were not treated very well when they lived in Bristol and used to run away only for the Police to bring them back.
A lady rescued them and brought them to Dorset which they liked but the place was rather small and a bit too muddy.
Sooo the lady asked us if we could look after them for a bit … like a holiday.
They are Kunekune which is a breed originating from New Zealand.
They have had a fabulous time.. in fact, so good a time they asked their owner if they could move in permanently!
The two happy pigs are now settled in the pond field and making themselves very much at home.
