People Think I’m Grumpy!

Woof!

Welcome back to my blog.

I hope you have been wrapping up now that winter is coming in, I’ve made Julie-boss get my winter coat out!

People think I’m grumpy but don’t really take time to understand me, they listen to me grumbling and then decide I am bad tempered. They are being unreasonable. Why do human beings always want to pat my bad back or pick me up? I warn them off because it often is very painful but they just don’t listen.

Some people I can trust if they approach me slowly and gently because then I am less worried and can enjoy a stroke. My friend Jordan is generally understanding and understands that he needs to be gentle so I don’t mind him touching my back but it takes time for me to know that someone isn’t going to hurt me.

I think everyone should be aware that if someone is looking or sounding grumpy that there might be a good reason and so not to just ignore that person. If someone is grumpy we should think – there might be something we can do to make them feel happier. For me, I just want a nice gentle stroke or tickle. That’s why I bark when you first meet me, I want to remind you that I’m here and ready for a chat!

See if you can find someone grumpy to cheer up this week!
