A big hello to our new coordinators who have been busy planning The Countrymen’s Club for the last few weeks!
Dominic (on the left) is joining Future Roots having had a long career in England and abroad where he had undertaken a diverse range of posts including as a staff nurse in Leeds, an agricultural guest worker at a Kibbutz in Israel, a forestry field course teacher in Wales and a leprosy project coordinator in Brazil! As well as working with us on the farm, Dominic will continue his role as a community leader with the Dorset Partnership for Older People Programme (POPP) and as a youth worker.
Brian (on the right) has been working with Future Roots for the last year as a mentor for young people. He previously worked at Church Farm in Ardeley and at Groundwork Hertfordshire. He is particularly interested in horticulture and holds a degree in environmental science from Oxford Brookes. Brian will continue his role with young people while working alongside Dominic to coordinate The Countrymen’s Club.
