A CHAT OVER THE FARM GATE CAN MAKE ALL THE DIFFERENCE IN THE WORLD
The Countrymen’s Club is a group that meets every week at a working farm near Sherborne in Dorset. It is for older men who want to remain active and involved in the countryside and who want to share their knowledge of farming and rural skills with others.
The Countrymen’s Club operates every Tuesday to Friday (1pm until 4pm) and will be of particular help to those who have been experiencing health problems and are finding it more difficult to get out. Bookings must be made in advance. Through funding from the Big Lottery Fund, we are able to offer all sessions free of charge between September 2012 and March 2014.
